Want to make the most of the first few weeks of 2017 to keep customers loyal and your bottom line bright? Check out these three unique ways to set yourself up for a great year.

  1. Keep showing that holiday cheer.
    Just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean you have to lose your cheer. Maintain a fresh face to customers who are probably used to stores full of tired, overworked salespeople. Surprise them by showing excitement that they chose your retail store over other options, and validate their decision by being a consultative—and joyful—partner.
  2. Focus on added value.
    It’s likely that customers either purchased or received some big-ticket items during the Christmas season.
